WeAreDevelopers Conference 2023 §

This week I attended the WeAreDevelopers Conference in Berlin, Germany. And participated in a coding competition called CODE100

The website claims to be Europe’s Ultimate Coding Competition.

I signed up just for fun. And didn’t expect a confirmation that I’ll be participating. Got me nervous a bit but I was curious and up for the challenge!

In the end I didn’t make it through the Playoffs on Wednesday. And It wasn’t as spectacular as I thoight it to be. To eliminate most of the 100 participants they created a Slido multiple choice quiz. The quiz questions were not that hard tbh. And the 32 best players got into the finals on Thursday.

There it got more exciting. The players had to solve coding challenges on stage live. Overall the challenges were doable but I couldn’t imagine doing them on stage without having a mental blockade from the hundreds of people watching.
