Research Question

The research questions, rephrased as a claim is the thesis of the paper. A scientific question has scientific answers.

For engineering projects, try to derive scientific questions from system characteristics and design decisions. “The goal is to connect x and y” becomes “How can x and y be connected?”.

• make sure it is answerable!
• it should be an open question, not a yes/no question.
